Chapter 13:The second customer
Although a box of ointment was sold, Tang Xin wouldn’t receive payment until the seller confirmed receipt. So, Yan Hao went hunting, and Tang Xin grilled meat. The two spent the night outside the city.

This time, Yan Hao willingly sat aside and waited for the meal, not rejecting the extra ingredients for the grilled meat. As they ate, he indeed felt that his right calf was a bit better than before.

After the meal, Tang Xin leaned against a tree and quickly fell asleep, showing no signs of complaint.

Yan Hao, observing this, raised an eyebrow. He had received specialized training in wilderness survival skills and felt right at home outdoors. He was surprised by his master’s ability to endure hardship.

Tang Xin finally found the first customer, and she felt particularly at ease when going to sleep that night, even having a rare dream. In the dream, the customer was shocked by the efficacy of the medicine, told all their relatives, and brought their whole family to buy it, instantly clearing out the inventory.

Thinking of the joyous moment, Tang Xin couldn’t help but smile, her lips curling higher and higher. Finally, she tilted her head and woke up.

Seeing the trees and the campfire, Tang Xin returned to her senses, feeling a bit disappointed. “It was just a dream.” She lowered her head and checked her contacts, instantly sobering up.

There were two messages in the contacts. One was a Federal Card notification informing her of the credited amount. The other was a shop order message, indicating that a customer had bought another six boxes of ointment.

Tang Xin read the two messages repeatedly, more than a dozen times, unable to stop.

Yan Hao, who had brought back some wild game, returned and saw his master with a face full of joy, as if she had found money. He mumbled to himself, wondering if the shop had just opened and why she was already so ecstatic?

Tang Xin caught sight of Yan Hao, eagerly sharing the good news: “The buyer has confirmed receipt! Payment has been made! They even placed an additional order for six boxes!”

Yan Hao took a while to digest this information, unable to believe it. “Ordered an additional six boxes?” Was the buyer not just naïve but insane?

He had always thought that buyers, upon seeing the actual product, would find the 400 credit point price outrageous and might choose to return the goods. Although his master had successfully completed a transaction, he hesitated to mention that selling didn’t mean the deal was over; there could still be returns.

Tang Xin, upon being asked this way, became calm. She thought, Yeah! She had only sold a few boxes of medicine, not even enough to cover her previous expenses. Why was she so happy? Thinking about this, she couldn’t help but disdain herself, feeling like she had fallen!

“Why would they only order six boxes? If they like it, shouldn’t they try to buy the whole stock?” Tang Xin murmured.

Yan Hao always considered himself composed and emotionally detached. However, since staying with his new master for a short time, he consistently broke his stoic demeanor, unable to stop himself from making various expressions. For instance, at this moment, he felt a strong urge to roll his eyes.

Selling the ointment was already good, but expecting a foolish buyer to buy the entire stock was unrealistic. Moreover…

Handing the wild game to the chef, Yan Hao said, “Let’s have dinner first, and later, we’ll check if the buyer at Ah Li Group has left a review.”

“Good idea! It’s a perfect time to send out the new order,” Tang Xin said, receiving the wild game with enthusiasm. The shop was finally starting to take shape.

Yan Hao lowered his eyelids, his dark eyes contemplating. The buyer might be foolish, but what if they were wealthy? Dissatisfied with the received items, they might buy several more products, intending to give a one-star review and deliberately seeking revenge. After fifty reviews, if the store’s average rating falls below three stars, it will permanently close.

Even if the buyer didn’t provide fifty one-star reviews, if all seven products in the new store received one-star ratings, who would want to visit? If the store was ruined, there was little difference from closing down.

Personal information of shop owners was available on the Star Network, and each person could only open one store on the Star Network. If Tang Xin’s store collapsed, her master wouldn’t be able to open another store on the Star Network.

Glancing at his master, who was happily barbecuing, probably already imagining a beautiful future, Yan Hao couldn’t help but sigh, “Ignorance is bliss.”

Yan Hao silently decided that if things really developed as he expected, he would have to personally intervene. He believed that by entering the buyer’s home and having a heart-to-heart talk with them, the buyer might agree to change the one-star review to a positive one.

Feeling completely prepared, Yan Hao calmly ate his meal, entered the Ah Li Group, watched his master open the screen, and thought nothing could surprise him. However, when he saw the buyer’s review, he couldn’t control his facial expression, revealing astonishment.

Just reading the words in the comment made him feel embarrassed, and he desperately wanted to look away. However, Tang Xin excitedly read the comment aloud, word by word.

“Divine Doctor, I’m your brain-dead fan! I’ve received the ointment, which is super, extremely effective! I’ve never seen such a magical and effective ointment in my entire life! Truly rare in the world! Truly, Divine Doctor! Forget about the Qi family’s hemostatic powder or the Ma family’s golden wound medicine; they simply can’t compare to the Tang family’s hemostatic ointment! Only after using your ointment did I realize how lousy the products I used before were! Divine Doctor, pay attention; the product page description is too modest and subtle; it almost made me miss out on such a treasure! Suggest making changes. Divine Doctor, I’m already a fan of Tang Family; I decided to only use your products in the future! The page price is too cheap; even if it’s doubled, it’s still super cost-effective. Sob…sob.., please make sure to expand the variety of medicinal products in the future, because after using Tang Family’s ointment, I can’t appreciate other products anymore!”

Tang Xin read through it in one breath, instantly feeling refreshed, and she pulled Yan Hao to look at the review. “Look, such a discerning buyer! Such an honest and loving review!”

Yan Hao struggled desperately—no, he wouldn’t look. After browsing the Star Network for so many years, he had never seen such a nauseating review.

At this moment, he finally realized that his master had changed the shopkeeper’s name to “Divine Doctor.” As for the page details, the introduction of the ointment was almost direct enough to write the two words “divine medicine.” The buyer actually said the product’s page description was too modest and subtle! He strongly suspected that the buyer, upon receiving the goods, discovered being deceived and, with a clear conscience, wrote a review hoping to deceive others.

Even more surprising, the buyer gave it a perfect five-star rating!

Tang Xin, after reading it once and still not feeling satisfied, finally regained some confidence as the first pharmacist. “The buyer has a good eye and is also the shop’s first customer. As an exception, I’ll send him an additional box.”

Yan Hao suddenly felt that something was wrong and looked at his master with suspicion. Could it be that she hired someone to artificially boost orders? This was not very professionally done!

Then he saw Tang Xin running around, unable to find staff to send the package… evidently forgetting the shipping process.

Yan Hao chuckled, thinking that if his master learned advanced skills like boosting orders, he could probably fly freely in space. Although everyone knew that even the highest-level, ninth-ranked warrior entering space was just a dead man.

Moreover, he was present when the customer placed the order. The store had just opened, and an order came in; the master didn’t even have time to contact someone for artificial order boosting.

Approaching her, Yan Hao re-taught her the process step by step, while his mind was a mess.

Carefully thinking about it, he felt that something was off. If the goal was to ruin the store with negative reviews, a wise approach would be to temporarily refrain from reviewing the first order, then make a large batch purchase. After receiving the second batch of goods, give them all one-star reviews. Because the buyer had already given a one-star review for the first order, the seller had the right to cancel the second order.

However, the buyer gave it a five-star rating and wrote a very positive review. If he thought he had been deceived and wanted to lure others into making a mistake, one review was enough. Why buy six more boxes?

It seemed very strange, no matter how he thought about it.

When the items were shipped out, he asked, “Why did the buyer place an additional order?”

Tang Xin blinked her eyes, as if finding the question odd. “After using the ointment and finding it very effective, he continued to place an additional order. Isn’t that normal?”

Yan Hao remained silent.

According to his master, the buyer, after receiving the ointment and being very satisfied with the trial, wrote a review out of genuine love. Moreover, since the ointment was so good, the person couldn’t wait to buy more to keep at home.

The analysis seemed logical, but when he thought about it, it was just a ridiculous explanation.

Yan Hao, with a poker face, found this analysis absurd. He had been eating barbecue for two days, and while the old injuries had improved, it only showed that Tang Xin knew a bit about medical skills. The gap between knowing a bit about medical skills and being a divine doctor was too vast. How miraculous should the ointment’s effect be to astonish someone so much? He really wanted to find an opportunity to try it out.

At the same time, someone else was foolishly looking at the comments. What’s different is that he recognizes the ID of the commenter.

Isn’t this the account of Lan Yin’s extravagant younger brother, Lan Yuan? Zhao Min’s face remained expressionless; he didn’t expect to come across such a comment while casually browsing Star Network. Did Lan Yuan go mad? If they meet someday, he can mock Lan Yin, suggesting he find someone to perform a ritual to expel evil spirits for his brother.

Zhao Min was about to close the page when his finger accidentally tapped on it again, revealing the latest purchase records. His gaze sharpened, and his expression immediately turned serious.

Lan Yuan bought another six boxes of ointment? No, something’s off!

Since Lan Yin was the future heir of the Lan family, Lan Yuan was in a completely unrestrained state. He could eat, drink, and have fun everywhere. However, Lan Yuan, not being the future heir of the Blue family, had limited pocket money every month, and given his spendthrift habits, he was basically broke every month.

A faint smile crept onto Zhao Min’s face as he muttered to himself, “This is strange. Where did Lan Yuan get the money to buy these six boxes of ointment? Let me calculate a total of 2,400 credit points. Not to mention that it’s already mid-month.”

Zhao Min quickly realized that something was amiss.

Even more peculiar was that Lan Yuan liked to indulge in pleasures, hated martial arts training, and, for him personally, ointments were useless. Spending a huge sum to buy something he couldn’t use? Lan Yuan might be a bit of a spendthrift, but he wasn’t a fool.

“Unless,” a glint of insight flashed in Zhao Min’s eyes, “he’s buying on behalf of someone else.” If that was the case, the “someone else” was easy to guess and was probably his brother, Lan Yin.

“Having his brother buy it to avoid attracting attention when purchasing with his own account? Is it necessary?” Zhao Min pondered, propping up his chin. “The comments are also quite ridiculous. Daring to compare it with the Qi family’s Hemostatic Powder and the Ma family’s Golden Wound Medicine. Isn’t he afraid of offending the Qi and Ma families? You know, the Qi family has the most powerful pharmacist on the Huangsha Star, and the Ma family is the most famous pharmacist family on the planet with dealings with the Huangsha Star.”

“I’d like to see what’s so good about the ointment Lan Yin is interested in.” Zhao Min quickly placed an order for three boxes.

He wasn’t worried about anyone recognizing his account; he had always claimed to those around him that he didn’t like shopping on Star Network, and no one knew he had a Star Network account. In fact, this was true; he rarely shopped on Star Network and only occasionally checked it out when he was bored.

Moreover, he used the nickname “Huangsha Star 0619″… Numerous people used Huangsha Star as a nickname, followed by various numbers. He was drowned in the crowd, and his account looked inconspicuous.
