Prologue
In the luxurious room bathed in the refreshing light of a spring day, Rosa, the eldest daughter of the Croitzer Duke’s family, gazes into the hand mirror handed to her by the personal maid Helena and sighs for what seems like the umpteenth time today.
“Young lady, it’s a miracle that you got away with just this much injury after being kicked by a horse.”
Helena, the maid, continues her straightforward remarks as usual.
Upon hearing this, a dry laugh escapes from Rosa’s lips.
“Ahaha…”
After being kicked by a horse attached to a carriage, Rosa fell into a three-day unconscious state. When she woke up, there was a large scar on her forehead that couldn’t be completely hidden by her hair. Well, all she could do now was laugh.
“A noble young lady with a scarred face. I won’t be getting any marriage proposals.”
And, fortunately or unfortunately, at the moment Rosa was kicked by the horse, memories of her past life flashed before her like a series of images.
Immediately after regaining consciousness, her father, mother, and brother rejoiced and made a fuss, but now things have settled down a bit. Rosa decides to slowly organize the memories of her past life.
