Sensing something amiss, she quickly lifted her head and found her little paw placed on the cat litter officer’s chin. The officer, who seemed to have awakened without her noticing, had deep eyes fixed on her, with no extra emotion on his face.

Feeling guilty, she gently released her paw. Shen Mubai let out a meow, expressing that it was unintentional. Then she realized her entire cat self was nestled in his arms, shamelessly pressed against his sturdy chest.

Startled, she hastily retreated, lowered her head nervously, and let her tail droop. She dared not look at the expression on the male lead’s face.

Suddenly, a large hand covered her head, its palm carrying a cool touch. Then came the distinctive cold voice, “Good morning.”

Carefully raising her head and seeing no sign of anger on his face, Shen Mubai finally relaxed. She obediently moved closer, rubbing against him to seek approval, and meowed, “Meow~ Good morning!”

Jiang Yiran lifted the blanket, got out of bed, and took out a deep black school uniform from the wardrobe. He began unbuttoning his clothes, graceful and unhurried, displaying an elegant charm.

His fair skin didn’t look pale but rather resembled exquisite jade, emitting a faint and crystalline beauty. Despite his slender body, it didn’t appear weak. The muscle lines were just right, and as he stretched his arms, a poised strength was revealed, showcasing his charm.

Shen Mubai widened her eyes, her face filled with surprise, as if she couldn’t believe how good the male lead’s figure was.

The upper garment was thrown onto the bed, and Jiang Yiran turned around, catching sight of the cat sitting on the bed, gazing intently.

He raised an imperceptible eyebrow, and the cold, slightly hoarse voice sounded, “What are you looking at?”

Only then did Shen Mubai come to her senses. Her emerald eyes met his, and then her gaze uncontrollably went downward to where his hands were. Suddenly, a burning heat surged on her face. Hastily, she covered her eyes with her small paws, turned her entire cat body away, and meowed awkwardly.

A faint chuckle was heard, then vanished in an instant.

The heat on Shen Mubai’s face intensified. Regretfully, she scratched the bedsheet with her paws.

Breakfast consisted of cheese, egg pancakes, and milk. Shen Mubai fully enjoyed the pampering from the cat litter officer. Feeling the male lead becoming increasingly close to her, shamelessly, when he left, she demanded him to take her along.

Hiding inside the backpack, Shen Mubai had forgotten the indignation she felt when she first turned into a cat. Now, she happily wondered what delicious food the cat litter officer would prepare for lunch.

At school, Jiang Yiran attended classes while Shen Mubai snoozed in the backpack on the desk, occasionally emitting soft purrs.

In the midst of a sweet slumber, her nose was lightly stroked again. The ticklish sensation spread from her tailbone throughout her body. Unable to bear it, she curled her body, and Shen Mubai drowsily opened her eyes.

Then, looking around in a daze, she found nothing suspicious at all.

Shen Mubai was utterly bewildered, starting to question her cat’s life.

After she closed her eyes and slept for a short while, the annoying thing happened again. Her nose was gently touched, and unable to endure it, she opened her eyes again, finding nothing once more.
