The story centers on a female demon and a male exorcist who is the crown prince in disguise. The female lead is the only surviving member of the Fengjian clan, whose members were wiped out by the emperor.
Then the male lead exorcist appeared with a soul-guiding lantern and became a demon collector; she became a follower besides him, but was just waiting for an opportunity to obtain the soul-guiding lantern from him.
