Chapter 77: Divine Encounter

“I want to see how you escape.”

Su Hua looked at this dead-end alley with no way out.

The man opposite her was wrapped in a black robe, only revealing a pair of eyes without any emotion, coldly staring at her.

A ball of blazing fire suddenly smashed towards Su Hua. She immediately dodged to the side and exclaimed, “Hey, can’t we talk before resorting to violence?”

The man paid no attention to Su Hua’s words and continued to unleash relentless magic. Su Hua dodged one after another until she had no choice but to wave her hand, making all the magic disappear.

The scorching air around them immediately cooled down.

The man, with his unchanging gaze, finally showed a hint of surprise but quickly concealed it, returning to his dead-fish eyes.

Raising his hand, the man made Su Hua take a step back. “You still want to fight?”

Something was thrown towards her, and Su Hua caught it and realized it was her purse.

He didn’t speak, but Su Hua understood his meaning: he returned the money, she could leave now.

“Here.” Su Hua tossed her purse back to him.

Once again, the man showed a surprised expression, his black eyes staring intently at Su Hua.

Why give it back to me?

Su Hua understood his meaning, “You’re not allowed to steal anymore in the future. If you need money, I’ll give it to you.”

Afraid of being misunderstood, she added, “I have plenty of money, more than I can spend. I want someone to help me spend it.”

The man continued to stare at her. If she had so much money, why did she snatch it back?

“You can have this money, but stealing is not acceptable. It’s a matter of principle.”

The man remained silent, seemingly lost in thought.

Su Hua felt a bit frustrated. Was this some sort of divine encounter? If he didn’t speak, she couldn’t understand his intentions!

A hand with distinct knuckles emerged from the black robe, which was unusually pale. Su Hua tilted her head to look at him. “What do you mean?”

“Give it to me.” The clear voice was quite contrary to his stiff appearance.

Su Hua widened her eyes. Was he asking for money now?

Damn! How shameless! But she really liked it!

“…” Host, what kind of hobby is this?

“Come here.” Su Hua waved her hand.

The man remained motionless, his eyes calm and emotionless.

Su Hua took out a spatial ring she had obtained from the auction.

“Do you want this?”

The man’s eyes brightened slightly.

“If you want it, come here.”

The light in the man’s eyes dimmed again.

Motherf**ker!!! He’s so hard to approach! And why do I feel like what I’m doing now is akin to a creep kidnapping a little girl?

Host, you’re not a creep; you’re a weird aunt.

[You have blocked the system]

Blocked if you disagree!

“What’s your name?”

The man continued to stare at her, and Su Hua felt like her eyes were about to pop out. She had no choice but to say, “I’ll give it to you if you tell me.”

“Mu Ye.”

Suhua threw the spatial ring over, and he swiftly caught it.

Just as Su Hua was about to ask something, Mu Ye leaped away from the alley.

“…Well done.”

Though infuriated, Su Hua managed to calm herself and continue her shopping. There were many good things in the fantasy world, and she wanted to buy more to prepare for any situation.

“Master, there’s news.”

“Bring it here.”

Leng Mu respectfully handed the paper to Long Ao.

“It’s really her!” Long Ao narrowed his eyes. “Resurrected from death?”

“Keep an eye on her. We must find out how she managed to survive!”

Inside the inn, Leng Mu’s figure disappeared into the room, leaving only Long Ao.

He couldn’t help but think of the little wildcat he saw today, a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. Then, with a flicker, he vanished from the room.
