Yu Jingchen chuckled softly, gently tapped her nose, and said in a low voice, “After so much exercise, it’s time to eat.”

Shen Mubai’s face turned crimson, and she couldn’t utter a word for a long while.

After saying this, Yu Jingchen lifted the blanket and got out of bed, dressing swiftly and neatly.

He didn’t seem like someone who had been doing that for hours; instead, he looked full of energy.

In contrast, Shen Mubai lay pitifully on the bed, her legs weak, unsure if she could even stand up.

About twenty minutes later, Shen Mubai, who had dozed off in a daze, was gently woken up.

She half-opened her eyes and rasped, “What time is it?”

Shen Mubai responded with an “Oh,” and said, “Turn around.”

Yu Jingchen chuckled lightly, agreed, and obediently turned his back to her.

With trembling hands and feet, Shen Mubai managed to get dressed and tried to stand up, only to embarrassingly fall back onto the bed.

Hearing the sound, Yu Jingchen quickly turned around.

Seeing Shen Mubai sitting helplessly on the bed, he froze for a moment before chuckling softly, “Sorry, I’ll be gentler next time.”

Shen Mubai glared at him, “You still want a next time?”

Yu Jingchen couldn’t help but laugh again.

He walked over, scooped her up in a princess carry, and said, “Sister Xiaoxing, let’s eat first.”

Nestled in his arms, her trembling legs betraying her, Shen Mubai felt utterly embarrassed.

When she was placed in the dining area in the living room, the aroma of food wafted through the air.

After a pause, she hesitated and asked, “You’re not going back today?”

Yu Jingchen smiled and said, “Seeing you like this, how could I leave?”

Shen Mubai was speechless.

Like hell this wasn’t his fault.

But being the coward she was, she silently cursed him in her mind and continued eating.

Later, while taking a bath, Shen Mubai’s legs were still weak.

If she hadn’t firmly refused his help, Yu Jingchen would have followed her in.

But things didn’t end well anyway.
