If You Don’t Go To Hell, Who Will? - Chapter 41
It was already 10 p.m. when we returned from the Linjiang Pavilion. The eight of us roamed around the campus of B University. Apart from passerby A showing some signs of fear of Xiao Er and eagerly joining the onlookers in a mixture of fear and schadenfreude, the atmosphere was still relatively harmonious.
Feeling good, I formed a snowball by the roadside and threw it directly at the fourth girl who was ahead. She got hit and turned around, fiercely throwing a snowball back at me. Zhong Yuan quickly reacted and skillfully pulled me aside, causing the snowball to miss me and hit the eldest girl directly. The eldest girl felt challenged and retaliated with a snowball, but she missed and hit passerby B. In a crucial moment, Passerby A firmly expressed his stance and threw a snowball at the eldest girl, but accidentally hit me instead. This angered Zhong Yuan, and he threw two snowballs, hitting passerby A and passerby B one after another.
And so the melee began.
The eight of us divided into several camps, fully implementing the strategic policy that “the enemy is within us, and we are within the enemy.” We formed snowballs in groups and threw them at anyone we saw, willing to make mistakes and hit a thousand, but not letting anyone escape. We had a great time chasing and playing with each other.
I held a snowball and shouted, chasing after passerby B. Zhong Yuan followed closely behind me. Suddenly, there was a “thud” sound, and I turned around to see Zhong Yuan slipping and falling. He was lying on his back, looking at me with a smile. He had a bit too much to drink today, so it was normal for him to walk unsteadily. Luckily, the ground was covered in snow and he was wearing thick clothes, so I figured he wouldn’t be hurt.
It was rare to see Zhong Yuan embarrassed. Although I felt a bit guilty for taking advantage of the situation, I couldn’t help but laugh heartily with my hands on my hips.
Zhong Yuan wasn’t angry and just lay on the ground, squinting at me. His appearance, combined with the orange-red streetlight, gave him a criminal-like charm. I swallowed nervously and felt a bit embarrassed.
Zhong Yuan raised the corner of his mouth, lifted his arm, and gestured for me to help him up. So I bent down, took hold of his hand, and pulled him up.
However, suddenly, a powerful force pulled me down, and before I could steady myself, I fell down. When I realized what was happening, I found myself lying in Zhong Yuan’s embrace.
Zhong Yuan had one arm around my waist and the other around my shoulder, holding me tightly in his embrace. He looked at me with half-closed eyes, a radiant light shimmering in his gaze, but it no longer had its usual clarity. He had indeed had too much to drink today, and a wave of guilt surged within me.
With his eyes narrowed, Zhong Yuan’s lips slightly curled up, and the soft orange light fell upon the corner of his mouth, creating a peculiar charm.
Looking at the corner of his lips, I felt a flutter in my heart and hastily tried to get away from him. However, this guy held me tightly, almost immobilizing me.
At this moment, the others had gathered around, teasing us with ill intentions and drawing the curiosity of passersby.
Feeling even more embarrassed, I simply buried my face in Zhong Yuan’s embrace, like an ostrich burying its head in the sand. I accepted my fate.
However, without any warning, Zhong Yuan suddenly turned over, pressing me beneath him. I exclaimed in surprise, not knowing what to do, but when I looked up, I saw those crazy people all holding snowballs, ready to throw them at us.
I didn’t witness what happened next because Zhong Yuan pressed my head against his chest, shielding me with his entire body. Of course, I didn’t need to see it to imagine what happened to those wretched guys. They must have made Zhong Yuan quite miserable.
Zhongyuan laughed softly above my head, his voice carrying a hint of intoxication. He gently said, “Don’t be afraid; I’m here.”
A warm stream flowed through my heart, and my throat tightened. I struggled in his embrace and answered, “I know.” As I spoke, I raised my hand and encircled him. His back felt icy cold, covered in snow.
Zhong Yuan suddenly stood up and pulled me along, running.
The people behind us shouted loudly, “Hey! They’re eloping!” “Capture them and put them in a pig cage; light a sky lantern!” The voices were filled with murderous intent but gradually faded away.
Those guys didn’t catch up to us, but Zhong Yuan didn’t stop running for a moment. He dragged me behind him, and my legs couldn’t keep up, leaving me gasping for breath. It was strange because wasn’t he supposed to be drunk? How could he run so fast?
Finally, Zhong Yuan stopped, and before I could react, he pushed me against a wall, and then his warm and soft lips covered mine.
Zhong Yuan closed his eyes tightly, holding onto my lips, gently sucking and carefully licking with the tip of his tongue. A faint scent of alcohol permeated between my lips, making it impossible to resist getting intoxicated and lost in the moment.
Zhong Yuan’s eyebrows slightly furrowed; his eyes were still closed, but while he held my lips, he murmured in a somewhat muddled voice, “Close your eyes, open your mouth.”
I was a bit puzzled. Why did this guy, who clearly had his eyes closed, seem to see everything? But regardless of the confusion, I followed his instructions, closing my eyes and opening my mouth to receive him, and at the same time, I wrapped my hands around his neck.
Zhong Yuan chuckled softly, then extended his tongue, exploring every corner of my mouth. The strong alcoholic taste overwhelmed me, and I felt dizzy, my limbs turning weak.
But Zhong Yuan held me tightly, seeming to grow bolder as the kiss continued.
By the time this guy finally had the decency to release me, my mind was filled with golden stars. He still seemed unsatisfied, trailing kisses from the corner of my lips down my chin, cheeks, earlobes, and neck.
Zhongyuan’s lips were soft, caressing my skin as if a feather gently brushed over it—a very pleasant sensation. However, I was still a bit afraid. This guy was currently in a confused state, and what if he bit me out of nowhere? I instantly thought of vampires from movies, causing a shiver to run through my body.
Zhongyuan lifted his head, gently stroking my cheek with his hand, and his eyes filled with a playful smile. “Afraid?” he asked.
I had no choice but to tell the truth: “Um, I’m afraid you’ll bite me.”
Zhongyuan chuckled softly. He used his fingertip to tap my lips, and his eyebrows curled as if he were extremely pleased. Suddenly, he leaned closer, his tongue lightly licking my lips. Then he looked at me with sparkling eyes and spoke in a teasing voice, reminiscent of a lascivious character from a TV show, “What’s there to be afraid of? I’ve already bitten before. Besides,” his gaze roamed suggestively over my body, circling my chest before he raised his eyes again and continued, “there are many more places to bite in the future.”
Me: “…”
Brother, I have my modesty, okay? >_<
“Feeling shy?” Zhongyuan caressed my flushed face, chuckling softly. “Actually, you can bite me too.”
Me: “…”
Zhongyuan: “Hmm, I’m really looking forward to it.”
I was thoroughly annoyed and angrily grabbed his hand, biting it hard… It was actually tough >_<
“Not here.” Zhongyuan withdrew his hand and pointed to his own lips. “Here.”
I turned my face away. Do you even know how shy I am, bro?!
Zhongyuan leaned closer and whispered hotly in my ear, “Of course, there are other places you can bite too. I’ll teach you slowly in the future.”
His shamelessness completely robbed me of my temper, and I couldn’t help but cry and laugh as I asked, “Zhongyuan, are you actually drunk?” If he was drunk, his logic would make sense; if he wasn’t drunk, his words weren’t quite normal. It’s just too lewd, too explicit, and too shameless.
Upon hearing my question, Zhongyuan chuckled and hugged me tightly. He planted a firm kiss on my cheek and then said, “I am drunk, so…” He lowered his head with a mischievous look in his eyes and said, “I’m going to make a forceful move.”
Me: “…”
