Chapter 56-Part 1

After healing Yun Tian, Tang Xin stayed for three days, checking his condition daily.

Once she was sure Yun Tian was fine, Tang Xin unhesitatingly emptied the Yun family warehouse of its medicinal herbs.

Calmly, she said, “As we agreed, these are my rewards for curing you.”

Although he knew the trade of herbs for his continued life was worthwhile, Yun Tian still felt a pang of regret; those herbs were hard to come by.

As for the spatial ring Tang Xin used to store the herbs, Yun Tian didn’t care.

He already knew she had spatial equipment.

Spatial equipment, though rare, wasn’t a big deal for him. He had a necklace with a huge space.

“Is there a problem?” Tang Xin asked knowingly.

Ever since Yan Hao advanced to level seven, he had been taking pills to conceal his strength. Thus, in Yun Tian’s eyes, Yan Hao was always at level six.

If Yun Tian went back on his word, she would be happy to give him an unforgettable lesson.

She had never forgotten being tied up and brought to the Yun family by Butler Su. She hoped to find an excuse to teach Butler Su a lesson. However, having just taken a lot of herbs from Yun Tian, she didn’t want to make the first move. If Yun Tian gave her a reason to act, she would be delighted.

Yuntian smiled wryly.

He knew the herbs were well spent, but he couldn’t help feeling a bit of heartache.

“No problem. Thank you, Miss Tang, for your effort in healing me,” Yun Tian said solemnly.

Tang Xin, disappointed that there was no confrontation, waved her hand dismissively.

“It was nothing. Since you’re fine now, I’ll be leaving.”

“Okay.”

Yun Tian thought for a moment and asked, “Miss Tang, you’ve put a lot of effort into treating me. The Yun family has many properties. Feel free to take any one of them.”

Tang Xin looked at him.

“When I said I was leaving, I meant leaving Huangsha Star.”

Yuntian was stunned. He thought Tang Xin was just going back to her residence.

“May I ask where you plan to go, Miss Tang?”

“Home to visit my family,” Tang Xin replied with a smile.

“And to collect some debts.”

Yun Tian seemed to understand something, as he also had debts to collect. “Are you never coming back to Huangsha Star? What about your house?”

Tang Xin didn’t care. “I won that house in a bet for ten thousand credits. Do with it as you please. Give it to Zhao Min. He has businesses on Huangsha Star and needs to come back occasionally.”

Since Zhao Min moved his shop to Jupiter, he had been sending money to her account quarterly. Watching the numbers on her Federation Card grow from six figures to seven, then to eight, she tossed the card into her ring, not bothering to count anymore.

Ten thousand credits meant nothing to her now. Even if she didn’t give it to Zhao Min and let it sit there, she wouldn’t mind.

“If you’re leaving, let me see you off. Take the Yun family spaceship,” Yun Tian offered politely.

“Okay,” Tang Xin agreed readily.

After Zhao Min’s business grew, he bought a spaceship to travel between Jupiter and Huangsha Star. She had planned to take his ship, but the Yun family’s ship was fine too.

Most importantly, Tang Ning’s eighteenth birthday was coming up. She had to get back to give him a surprise.

Yun Tian escorted Tang Xin and Yan Hao to Mercury, where the Tang family was.

He asked again, “Are you sure you two are okay? Need any help?”

Yan Hao replied calmly, “No need to worry. With me here, I’ll ensure my master’s safety.”

Seeing that Tang Xin had no requests, Yun Tian left on his spaceship.

Once they were alone, Tang Xin turned to Yan Hao and asked, “If I remember correctly, wasn’t my cheap dad a level six martial artist when I left?”

“Cheap dad?” Yan Hao was puzzled. What did that mean?

Tang Xin closed her mouth. She had gotten used to being unrestrained around Yan Hao and forgot that “she transmigrated” was something Yan Hao didn’t know.

“It means having a dad is the same as not having one,” Tang Xin made up.

Yan Hao thought everyone had their own way of speaking and replied, “Yes, but the family head has been stuck at level six for seven or eight years. He might be close to a breakthrough.”

“Stuck at level six for seven or eight years? Maybe he’ll never break through,” Tang Xin mocked.

Yan Hao chuckled and reassured her, “Before you left, the family head was the highest level in the Tang family. Even if he breaks through to level seven, he can’t beat me.”

“Of course,” Tang Xin thought. After all, she had been feeding Yan Hao with medicinal food every day, making him an eighth-level warrior. No one else had that treatment.

Yan Hao continued, “Actually, you don’t need me to act. Just take out the twenty-plus vials of gene purifier agents from your ring and hint at it to others. Many would want to deal with the Tang family to get a vial.”

Tang Xin’s expression became strange.

“Why do you know there are twenty-plus vials of gene purifier agents in my ring?”

She had never mentioned her stock to Yan Hao.

Yan Hao looked back calmly, “Just a rough estimate. Initially, someone brought two herbs, and you gave one vial to the person and one to the auction. Later, your reputation grew, and you sent one vial to the auction every three months and set one for a 24-hour auction in your Star Network shop. Aside from what you gave to the military, the rest should be with you. Occasionally, you made one or two extra vials, so there should be about twenty vials. The number shouldn’t be far off.”

Tang Xin was silent. It was the accuracy that startled her.

She hadn’t planned to tell Yan Hao, yet he guessed correctly.

Could they still get along well?

Yan Hao smiled, his expression softening as he leaned closer.

“What’s wrong? Angry that I guessed right?”

Tang Xin looked at the sky.

How could she be angry at a well-behaved, obedient “big dog” that tried to please her every day?

“Let’s go, give Dad and Tang Ning a surprise.”
